Before you can Volunteer...

RISD has a strong commitment to keeping our schools safe. If you wish to volunteer in RISD and at Lake Highlands Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year, you MUST complete a background check through the Richardson ISD Volunteer Management System, Verkada. 
Please note: ALL volunteers must complete a background check EVERY YEAR!
